I'm super bad at updating deviantart, so here's my attempt at updating by just linking out to things I update more regularly lol

I haven't written a journal entry in almost two years! Whoops. Probably because I've mostly been using Instagram and Facebook for my cosplay stuff. I've also been updating my blog a lot more. It's a huge mix of just all my interests: cosplay, keto, and web / graphic design. Check them out if you're curious what I've been up to!

I recently went to my first convention since moving to Bend, OR. The con was Halloween weekend in Portland and I stayed with DrisanaRM and Sydney (Cosparade) at Drisana's place in Vancouver, WA. I had SUCH a blast! I met Drisana and Sydney through the Kumo facebook group when Sydney asked for more volunteers for their Eeveelutions group. I jumped at the chance to finally be in an organized group and I'm so happy I did! I got to make a fun and challenging cosplay (Sylveon Bard) and make lots of new friends!

Inspired by both Drisana and Sydney, I also tried out vlogging for the first time! It's a lot of fun! I love editing videos so it was cool getting all the footage during the con and then reliving it while splicing everything together for youtube.

Wow so it's been two and a half years since my last entry. Clearly lots of things have happened since that last post. I won't bore you with details but I will just say that I've finally gotten back into cosplay. Very slowly but surely. Started working on one last week! And I've already spent quite a bit of money on the base pieces of it but I'm super excited. The plan is to finish a Blake Belladonna (RWBY) cosplay for RTX2015 in August. RTX2014 was the first and only convention I have ever attended out of cosplay and it felt SO WRONG. So, fixing that this year. And in my typical cosplay practice, I'm of course doing a cosplay that doesn't require me to wear a wig at all and has articles of clothing that I can use for every day use outside of cosplay (what can I say? I'm a bit of a practical cosplayer).

Other than that and finally nailing down an awesome full-time job, not to mention somehow managing to nab a really wonderful boyfriend, my life hasn't really changed much. I've learned a LOT about design these past two years and it's actually a bit of a bummer than I can't really share my work on deviantart. Any design work I can post, I post on my dribbble account. So if you really wanna get a feel of what I've been doing, that and my website are the best places to look.

Anyway, there wasn't much point to this entry except to show I'm still here and that I'm working on a Blake cosplay. I may not post or comment much anymore, but I still check out the awesome cosplays on this site from time to time. You guys are phenomenal and so inspirational. So keep it up!

P.S completely unrelated but I felt like posting it because it may help people: I recently started doing Blogilates, which is Cassey Ho's POP Pilates and it's AWESOME. I really enjoy it and it's nice for beginners cause she's got a beginners calendar you can do. And it's only about 30 minutes a day which is really nothing in the grand scheme of things. Highly recommend it!
