Thought of this during my Intro to Philosophy class (such a boring class! I mean it's not a boring subject at all but my teacher somehow manages to make it the most dull class ever!).
Credit to zel-duh on gamespot.com for the icon pictures. [link]
Icons not shown in preview: - lightning - super star - giant mushroom - red item box - red shell
I pretty much just copied and pasted them onto photoshop and fixed them up. haha
How do you get PNG images up on your dock? I've only just started replacing icons with ones I want, but have a limited selection based on what type it is.
Well, I have just the free version of ObjectDock. And I don't know how you may be changing your icons but the way I do it is I move the png's to the objectdock image folder. Then I right-click whatever icon I wanna change and go to the properties and change it from there. It seems to work fine for me, though it is a bit time consuming when I want to change all of my icons.
Is that the method you use? or are you doing a different one?
Object dock? I don't have anything on my computer that services icon changing.
What I use (this is where PNG is a no-go), I click the image I want to use, and press -apple + i- to pull up 'get info.' I click the image on the top left of the info tab, and copy it. I do the same get info thing with what I want replaced, click the top left icon, then I paste.
oh okay. see I have no idea how to fix that cause I'm guessing you're on a mac. I'm using this program ObjectDock that creates a dock like mac but on windows. So yea, sorry. I can't really help you I'll ask my bf later though if he knows how to fix it cause he's got a mac.

Ok, look for a program called img2icns. Actually, you don't have to look; I found it for you.
